Gavina Ihunnah

Gavina (Gavy) is a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) at the NeuroSpine Department of the Cherry Hill Campus of Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington State, since 2017. She works as a Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR), caring for people undergoing surgery and ensuring they are safe the whole time.

Gavy graduated from the University of Washington (UW) Seattle with a Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree in 2022. She worked on the project, Rural Health in Nigeria: The Case of Uvuru Health Center, which is a project to improve the use of a rural health center for the benefit of the people in and around the community. She completed her Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree at the Metropolitan State University St Paul, Minnesota, in 2017.

In addition to her job, Gavy volunteers in her community in Covington at the MultiCare MapleValley clinic and Lahai Health Seattle, one of the largest and only low-income comprehensive primary care clinics in the Puget Sound region. She also participates in various projects abroad, mainly in Nigeria.
